Ramadan Skin Saviours #part2

Ramadan Skin Saviours #part2

Ramadan week three and more dry skin… I could fix it up with a nice sheet mask, but I really wanted to try out more of the Origins Skin Superstars set that I bought in January.

Perfect time to whip out the Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask with Avocado & Swiss Glacier Water… boy, oh boy, they don’t give them short, snappy names do they? Let’s just refer to it as the Drink Up Intensive mask.

Trial Run

How to apply: Squeeze into your palms to warm and then gently massage a liberal amount onto clean skin whenever your skin feels thirsty. Tissue off the excess or leave on overnight.

I applied first thing in the morning, after cleansing and after doing my wudhu for the morning. I applied a fingertip amount all over the face and gently massaged in. I kept it on until late-afternoon when I washed it off for wudhu again. My skin was left more moisturised than without, but it didn’t feel as smooth as after the Garnier sheet mask last week.

The Verdict

I like this facial mask treatment but don’t love it on my skin. I’ll definitely finish the tube but prefer a sheet mask for intensive hydration or the Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleep Mask.

If you’ve tried it and had better results, I’d love to know your skin type and how you used it to better effect. Hit me up on the socials xx
