My skin is still subject to the odd skin breakout. Usually spots pop up after I have had a bad food week or poor hydration week. Sunday morning was one such breakout morning. Sad times.
My first instinct was to grab my pot of Glamglow Supermud Clearing treatment. Alas! I’m all out. To make it worse, I’m on a budget (just bought a house) so can’t afford to splash out on a £50 jar, no matter how much I love it.
I then raided my bathroom for Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. Nope. All out.
I then remembered that I have a tub of fullers earth powder from a video I worked on a while back. I mixed a spoon of fullers earth with a few drops of rosewater and tapped it onto the spot.
After it dried, I flaked off the mask and washed my face. Afterwards I looked into the mirror to see the spot had shrunk and partially dried. Another treatment on Sunday night left only a pink/ red mark that was easily covered by a dab of concealer.
Total cost was £5.60 (400g tub of Fullers Earth) + £4.30 (500ml of Rosewater) for tons of applications. My new budget treatment!
