When it comes to washing my brushes, I’m faithful to my goats milk cleansing soaps. When I ran out and couldn’t’ order replacements quick enough for my weeks bookings, I had to improvise. I had bought the Garnier Micellar Gel Wash to trial for the blog, but decided that it did too good a job on my brushes for me to upset my current cleansing routine.
I mix a little of the gel cleanser with warm water into my mini fish bowl that came with my StylPro and swish it round to loosen the makeup particles from the brushes. It works pretty quickly and is effective enough to remove powder, cream and liquid products. It’s an effective way to clean my brushes but it only cleans, it won’t disinfect. I still disinfect each brush before use on clients but this does a great job of removing any product build-up first.
